Questions

We are already married. Can a friend lead this?

Yes, anywhere. A vow renewal has no legal part, so there is no officiant licence, no registrar and no pronouncement. Anyone you choose can lead it from the script.

Do we write new vows or repeat the old ones?

Your choice in the form. We write new promises from what you tell us about the years, or we build the ceremony around your original vows, or both.

What if it is actually our legal wedding?

Then you want the ceremony script, $79, which marks where the legal declaration goes. If you married at the courthouse first and this is the celebration, the renewal script is the right one.
